Introduction to Climate Change in Cayman Teacher Starter Pack

This is a summary of the upcoming unit. It is recommended to review this to understand the structure and content you can anticipate throughout the unit. This will allow teachers to plan ahead, ensure they have the correct resources and materials. 

It is also suggested to check out the links in the additional resources, primarily the: 

• Climate Change Policy from the Ministry of Sustainability and Climate Resiliency  and the
• Climate Change Risk Assessment

Pre & Post Unit Survey ( READ THE FOLLOWING )

• We would love to guage the success of the toolkit by requiring the students to complete a pre and post unit survery about what they know, and how they feel about climate change.
• Please give this survery to your students at the beginning of the unit (or lesson if you are only intending on using one lesson from the unit). As part of the grant given to create this toolkit we are required to track student progress and request that you send any surveys taken to climateeducation@nationaltrust.org.ky for us to analyse the data.
